To be put on a CONTACT LIST as rabbits come available, please reach us on Facebook! First come, first serve. For sale rabbits will be posted to our Facebook page when available.
All of our rabbits are 8 - 12 weeks old at time of sale.
Because of many inquiries: "Breeding Age" rabbits are rarely available at Wild Eden Rabbitry and sold on a case-by-case basis, as I maintain a small herd and don't generally sell off my breeders unless I need to retire them. If any are available, I will mention them and they will be priced accordingly due to the time, money, and energy it took to raise them.
If looking for pedigreed show stock, please note that. I love helping people new to meat rabbit raising, showing, and getting 4-Hers established with rabbits!

Sales Policies
General
When you buy a rabbit from us you are agreeing to our sale policy, whether you have read our policy or not.
We are a private rabbitry and we are not open to the public. We are available by appointment only. Please send a message through the website to contact us. When arriving to pick up your new rabbits' please make sure to bring a pet carrier for your rabbits ride home. If you have a long drive, please bring water and hay.
* All rabbits for sale will be at least 8 weeks old or older. It is Maine law and an ARBA requirement that all rabbit kits must be at least 8 weeks at the time of the sale. This ensures that the kits are healthy and mature to be weaned from their mother, have a strong immune system, and are eating their hay and pellets.
*No sales to anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian present at the time of sale. We support and encourage youth breeders, but want to ensure that parents are aware of the exchange.
* As we are working with live animals, I reserve the right to refuse a sale at any time, for any reason.
* When we sell a rabbit, the buyer is responsible to check the quality, health, temperament sex, ears, nose, teeth & nails. We will go over the whole rabbit with buyers, however mistakes can sometimes be made with young rabbits. So, that's why we want all buyers to inspect the rabbit for themselves as all sales are final.
* We do not guarantee the future temperament of a rabbit, their the show potential, the adult weight, fertility, & the quality of their offspring.
Once the rabbit has left my rabbitry, the buyer is responsible for their new animal. We will always be there to help out & answer any questions during the life your rabbit. No veterinarian bills will be reimbursed under any circumstance, no refunds or exchanges are ever given. *All sales are final*
All of our rabbits will come with a small ziplock bag of rabbit pellets. We suggest mixing the same amount of your rabbit pellets in with our pellets, to gently wean the rabbit off our feed and onto your own.
Health
All of our rabbits will be healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale.
We will not sell any rabbit showing outward signs of infection, sore hocks, snuffles or any other visible illness.
We handle our rabbits on a daily basis. As such all of our rabbits will have what we judge as good temperament at the time of sale. We will not sell any animal that shows signs of aggression or biting.
Quality
The animals we have listed as show or breeding stock are animals we believe would have qualities that would be useful in a breeding or showing program.
Any known faults or disqualifications are clearly listed on our for sale page.
Every judge and every breeding is different and we cannot guarantee the results of your showing or breeding any rabbit purchased from us.

Holding Policy
Sorry, we no longer offering this service. Rabbits are available on a first come, first serve basis.
However -- if you are interested in being put on a mailing list as rabbits come available, we are more than happy to notify you!
If you are seeking pedigreed stock such as pairs or trios for a herd foundation for showing, please give us an adequate heads up. We can keep your contact information on file for when a rabbit we feel will meet your needs becomes available.
Delivery
Because of our busy schedule we cannot offer shipping on any rabbit. All rabbits will have an arranged delivery location, or may be picked up at any show we attend.
We attend ARBA sanctioned shows in Maine throughout the year. We are more than happy to transport our sale animals to these shows, free of charge. Rabbits being picked up at a show, must be picked up by noon or they will be put back up for sale.
You must notify us at least 72 hours in advance if you will be picking up at a show we attend.
We operate as a closed rabbitry and do not allow sales at or visits to our rabbitry out of consideration for our new and nursing moms and the safety of our other animals. However, we will be happy to meet you at a public business place in town to pick up your new rabbit. Please e-mail us to make arrangements as far as transport.
Pets
While we do not breed with the intention to sell rabbits as pets, good disposition is one of the traits that I consider a core competency of our operation. **Note to parents** Our young rabbits will become much BIGGER rabbits. We do not have dwarf or minis. Our breeds are all commercial meat rabbits which means they grow quickly and to a considerable size. Please take this in account when considering one of our rabbits. Listed below are the sizes that our rabbits will reach:
Californians: 10lbs
Dutch: 4lbs
If you are purchasing with the intention of giving the rabbit as a pet to a child, please consider buying a male (buck). Females (does) have the tendency to become territorial and want to be bred. We do not recommended buying pairs of rabbits for pets unless you spay/neuter them. Bucks can castrate each other (even siblings), bucks/does will breed (obviously), and doe pairs can mutilate each other fighting for separate space.
Pick Up
As our rabbitry is a closed one, we will meet at a public location for pick up unless stated otherwise in communications.
Bringing The Rabbit Home
We recommend that you quarantine your new rabbit for at least 30 days if you intend to add it to your herd. Under no circumstances do we take rabbits back so please research and ask questions before you buy.
